Searching
To begin searching for properties within the Commercial Property Exchange, click on the Search Properties tab in the top navigation menu. Several search options are provided in order to locate specific properties.
The Main Search of the CPE allows users to search All Listing Methods (For Sale, For Lease, For Sublease) and All Status (Available, Under Contract, Closed Sold/Leased, Withdrawn) from one platform.
Please Note - The CPE search interface utilizes the latest AJAX functionality which asynchronously searches the database of properties thereby removing the need to use the internet browser’s Back Button and Forward Button. This greatly improves page load time but disables standard browser navigation.
Only use the navigation controls on the CPE. Do not use your internet browser’s Back Button.
Basic Search with Search Results and FIlter Options
Searching for properties on the CPE is easy but remember:
- Selecting fewer search parameters will yield more search results.
- Search parameters dynamically adjust to your selections.
Example: If Office type is chosen, only Office Subtypes will be available for additional selections. - Available and Under Contract Listing Methods are selected by default.
- You can refine your Search Results by any search parameter in the Filter Results box.
Advanced searching techniques include:
- Press and hold the CTRL or Command button on your keyboard to make multiple selections within a box.
- Enter numerical values only into the Minimum and Maximum value boxes.
Example: If looking for buildings OVER 5,000 square feet, enter 5000 into the first Building Size box (Minimum). If looking for buildings built BEFORE 1999, enter 1999 into the second Year Built box (Maximum). - Some discrepancy can occur in text fields as they are based on user entry. Try entering partial words in text criteria if desired results are not found.
Example: If searching for Coffey Creek, enter Coffey as the listing may be listed as CoffeyCreek.
